Women's Flyfishing® is dedicated to helping women learn and enjoy the sport of fly fishing in a supportive and non-competitive environment. We believe that fly fishing can be experienced on many different levels and that one need not be an expert to appreciate the beauty of the fish and flies, the peace of the environment, and the adventure, fun and challenge of the sport.

We offer small group guided trips throughout North America for women and couples for trout, salmon, bonefishing, and more. We also offer on the water fly fishing schools for women; fly fishing, casting and fly tying instruction; drive to and fly out float tubing.

With all of this talk of women in the fly fishing space, we would be remiss to neglect mentioning our founder, Cecilia “Pudge” Kleinkauf. Through her work as an author, educator, advocate, and fishing guide, Pudge is revered as a legend among women fly fishers around the world. While she is now retired, her impact reverberates. Author of 6 books, fierce advocate for a multitude of fish habitat conservation organizations, entrepreneur and founder of this very company… the list goes on. Despite these numerous accolades, perhaps Pudge’s most notable accomplishment was the hundreds of women who she inspired to fly fish. The inner peace, empowerment, and joy that fly fishing brought Pudge’s students is priceless!    

In 2017 upon Pudge’s retirement, Women's Flyfishing® was purchased by Linda Leary. Linda is as passionate about and skilled at building businesses as she is at fly fishing. Founder of Fishe Wear and powerhouse behind Women's Flyfishing®, Linda works tirelessly to continue the work Pudge started making women feel comfortable and confident in the world of fly fishing.
