Beginning Fly Fishing Class

Join us in person for a two-part, beginning fly fishing class! Offered throughout the year, this course sets a great foundation for any future fly fisher.

Classes will be held during the evening from 6 pm - 8:30 pm.

 

Part 1

  • Introduction to fly fishing and history

  • Understanding rod/reel/line balance

  • Knots

  • Clothing & gear

 

Part 2

  • Flies - review

  • Learning to cast, hook, and land fish

  • Fishing etiquette, safety, and friendship
