Running in early September, this trip combines all the best parts of fall in Alaska. After long, triumphant days of conventional fishing for silver salmon and fly fishing for trout, you'll be glad for the rejuvenating aspects of this trip; cozy accommodations, and the excitement of fierce fall fishing!
This trip offers a mix of fishing; with conventional rods for silvers and targeting rainbows with beginner-friendly fly fishing. This is the Perfect ladies get away weekend and we would love to have you join us!

Schedule and Accommodations
September 4-7, 2025
Day 1:
4:00 to 5:00 pm - Evening arrival at the Fish Magnet Lodge
6:00 pm - Meet your lodge host and other trip guests over dinner
Day 2 & 3:
6:00 am Breakfast and coffee
7:00 am to 2:00 pm - Fully Guided Day of Fishing - picked up by boat at the lodge
Free time: Play corn hole, sit by the outdoor fire pit, visit amongst each other
6:00 pm - Dinner at the lodge
Day 4:
6:00 am - Breakfast and coffee
7:00 am to 12:00 pm - Shuttle to the river for a half day of fishing
12:00 pm - Check out of the lodges and say good byes

Target Fish: We will be targeting Rainbows using traditional fly fishing gear and that will be catch and release fishing. We will also fish for Silver Salmon using conventional fishing gear, bait casters, spin rods, etc. You will have the option to keep and bring the Silver Salmon home from your trip, fish processing is not included.

$2,495 / Person
Length of Stay: 2.5 days fishing, 3 nights lodging
Includes: 3 nights lodging in cabins, food and beverages, professional guide(s), 2.5 days of daily fly-fishing instruction based on itinerary, fly-fishing gear, equipment and flies for use during the trip, Dryft waders and wading boots available upon request.
Does not include: Meals prior to trip, guide and lodge staff gratuities, Alaska fishing license.
Cancellation / refund policy: 50% of trip cost due at time of booking, last 50% of trip cost due 60 days prior to the trip date. Should you cancel your trip, a refund will be made only if your space can be filled, minus a 10% service charge. We make no refunds nor assume any additional expenses if weather or any reason beyond our control renders you unable to complete a trip or any other part of an itinerary. We reserve the right to cancel a trip because of low enrollment or other circumstances and will refund all funds paid to us in such a case.
Travel
Closest major air hub: Anchorage, AK or Kenai, AK. Most people fly into Anchorage and drive down to Kenai. The drive is about 2.5hrs from the Anchorage airport. You also have the option to get a flight from Anchorage to Kenai. We recommend Kenai Aviation or Grant Aviation for a flight to Kenai.
Documents required: Photo ID / Passport and Alaska Fishing License
Trip Cancellation Insurance: We recommend that you acquire trip cancellation insurance and/or purchase Global Rescue trip evacuation insurance.

What to Bring
Documents: You will need to purchase or have a current, active Alaskan Fishing License and have appropriate photo identification for airline travel. Your guides will provide the following: all tackle and gear needed for fishing. Although if you have a favorite fly rod, please feel free to bring it along.
You will need to provide: Your fishing license, warm layers and rain gear. Tips for your guides, lodge staff and the cost of fish processing is not included. Cocktails at the Lodge are not included.
