Beginning Fly Fishing

Saturday Class

Join us in person for a beginning fly fishing - Saturday class! This course sets a great foundation for any future fly fisher.

Class will be held during the day, choose from either May 3rd or May 10th, 2025 from 9 am - 3 pm with a break for lunch.

 

Part 1

  • Introduction to fly fishing and history

  • Understanding rod/reel/line balance

  • Knots

  • Clothing & gear

 

Part 2

  • Flies - review

  • Learning to cast, hook, and land fish

  • Fishing etiquette, safety, and friendship
